Posting Context Statement  
This position will work on the NSF-funded project Crossing the Innovation Valley of Death: Democratizing Data and Artificial Intelligence for Research Administration. They will collaborate with research administrators and technology developers to build stakeholder relationships and create communication strategies and training programs. This role is central to building a community of practice through instructional design and strategic engagement while supporting the faculty, staff and students contributing to the project. The role combines expertise in adult learning with a passion for collaborative networks that drive innovation and knowledge sharing across institutions, bridging research administration with emerging technologies.

Position Overview 
This position supports the planning and completion of educational, outreach or professional programs; working with program staff, students, the public and/or agencies, to plan and oversee program activities. May lead a distinct area for the program such as outreach, assessment or financial management.

Duties may include: Participate in the development and implementation of program deliverables, services, and activities Coordinate a team with a variety array of talents and responsibilities Collect, compile, and summarize program data for reports Participate in developing program operating goals, objectives and protocols Maintain program budgets, monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with program requirements Active participation in the development and submission of program proposals Lead collection and compilation of program assessment data May supervise the work of others or lead a team to accomplish assigned goals Other duties as assigned

 Position Qualifications 
Required Experience  | Two years of program coordination or program management experience Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Collecting, compiling, summarizing, and analyzing data for administrative reports
Required Education  | Bachelor’s Degree; four additional years of experience in program coordination (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree

Required Other  | Ability to travel on occasion Ability to facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions and community events

Additional Preferred 
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Education, Marketing, Instructional Design, or related fields Master’s Degree in related field Experience leading collaborative teams in an educational or research environment Experience developing and implementing training programs and professional development initiatives in higher education settings Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, community building and creating sustainable communities of practice Background in developing multimedia training content (videos, interactive modules, digital learning objects) and facilitating virtual collaboration and online communities Certification in instructional design or adult education Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into accessible training programs and materials Experience using various communication platforms and tools Experience creating and presenting content to various audiences
