Job Summary
The Program Manager supports the planning, coordination, and administration of programs and initiatives within JSOM Abroad. This role focuses on project management, logistics, contracts, budgeting, and general program support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Program Manager collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and campus partners to advance program goals and enhance the overall student experience.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree. Three (3) years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in project management, program coordination, or international education administration.
  • Advanced degree in education, business, international studies, or related field.
  • Experience with program management platforms (e.g., Terra Dotta).
  • Experience with contracts, budgets, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with study abroad or faculty-led program administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Program & Project Support/Collaboration
  • Coordinate logistics for international education initiatives, including internships, degree partnership activities, faculty-led programs, and exchange programs.
  • Develop and manage JSOM’s international internship initiative by identifying opportunities, cultivating employer partnerships, and expanding experiential learning opportunities for students.
  • Coordinate internship placements and related activities in collaboration with students, employers, international partners, and the JSOM Career Management Center; track participation and assess program outcomes.
  • Support incoming exchange and degree-seeking students participating in international partnership programs, helping to ensure a positive and engaging student experience.
  • Gather and organize information from faculty, staff, and partner institutions to support program development and submissions through Terra Dotta and other systems.
  • Track scholarship and funding opportunities; support financial reporting and budget monitoring.
  • Share responsibilities with the Program Specialist on communications, marketing materials, and website updates.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and international partners to ensure program goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Communication & Events
  • Assist with promotion, information sessions, and recruitment activities for JSOM Abroad programs, international internships, and partnership initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for prospective, current, and visiting students by providing timely and professional program information.
  • Collaborate with student organizations and community groups
  • Coordinate special events and engagement activities, such as International Education Week and programs designed to support visiting international students.

Administrative Duties
  • Manage contracts and agreements with vendors, program providers, employers, and international partners.
  • Maintain partner institution data and update program information packets.
  • Track internship placements, student participation, and program outcomes; prepare reports on enrollment, program balances, and trends.
  • Provide student advising and support through shared program email and other communication channels.
  • Assist incoming exchange and degree-seeking students with program processes and referrals to appropriate campus resources to help ensure a successful transition and overall experience at JSOM.
