The Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging (KIHA) is a cross-campus interdisciplinary institute that has the following Vision: Quality in Life, Wellness and Community. The Institute coordinates team science at DU and collaborates with companies, institutions, and government to enhance the quality of life for older adults through applied research, education, training, and community engagement.
Position Summary
The Program Manager for the Whole Person Health Initiative will work with the Faculty Director to support the development, coordination, and implementation of a campus-wide and community-focused effort to advance whole person health research, education, and engagement.
The Program Manager will collaborate closely with KIHA leadership, faculty across DU, community partners, and external practitioners to operationalize a multidisciplinary well-being hub that bridges research and real-world application. This role will launch and sustain new educational programs, workshops, seminars, and evidence-based well-being programming through KIHA and in partnership with entities across DU. Responsibilities include program design and logistics, research synthesis and dissemination, community partnerships, communications, and administrative coordination, including the supervision of undergraduate and graduate students and any associated staff.
The ideal candidate is an organized, relationship-oriented professional with experience in higher education program management, health or wellness initiatives, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. This position contributes directly to DUâs leadership in healthy aging and lifelong well-being, supporting KIHAâs mission to improve quality of life across the lifespan. This is currently a six month grant funded position with extended employment contingent on additional funding

The University of Denver's regular operating hours are 8 AM - 4:30 PM. This position is a part time position, intended to work approximately 20 hours a week. In accordance with the Universityâs flexible work policy, this position is eligible to be considered for partial remote work. Further details regarding this plan will be determined with the hiring manager and are dependent on the division and team specific needs.

Salary Grade
The salary grade for this position is 12
Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $40.87-$45.98
