The Office of Engineering Research is hiring a Program Specialist Senior. This role coordinates research development and pre-award activities, liaises between faculty and administrative offices, and manages proposal budgets and compliance to support the College of Engineering's externally funded research expansion.
Highlights
Coordinate and support pre-award research activities and proposal development.
Serve as liaison between faculty investigators, departmental staff, and university administrative offices.
Assist with budget development and monitor compliance with sponsor and university requirements.
Maintain records of proposals and research activities and provide operational support for research programs.
Manage multiple concurrent projects ensuring timely completion of deadlines.
Required qualifications: Associate's Degree plus 4 years relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with grant coordination and proposal development experience; project management experience.
Target salary is approximately $48,332.54, commensurate with qualifications.
Works within the Engineering College and Office of Engineering Research.
Typical office environment with minimal physical effort and no significant physical risk.
