Position Summary
The department of Psychiatry is seeking a part-time, project coordinator to support an international suicide study. The incumbent will conduct all interviewer training, and work with the study investigators on training health professionals to conduct data collection for the suicide psychological autopsies and attempter assessments. The incumbent will also assist local collaborators in the monitoring of ongoing quality control.

Responsibilities
  • Trains interviewers in the administration of structured interviews, including Psychological Autopsies, in collaboration with the international team.
  • Evaluates trainee performance and clears for fieldwork.
  • Work with international collaborators to develop procedures to ensure data quality.
  • Develops training programs with international partners.
  • Contributes to the development of questionnaires and assessments for all samples.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience; 4 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience training for fieldwork in international settings preferred.
  • Extensive experience with international and epidemiological investigations highly preferred.

Other Requirements
  • Must successfully complete online systems training requirements.
  • Experience in training specific to the administration of structured interviews.
  • Research quality control/monitoring experience.
  • Extensive experience in human subject protection, working with vulnerable populations, and research ethics.
  • Frequent international travel expected.
