Job Description | This position oversees student recruiting activities for the Lewis College of Business as well as performing professional and administrative duties in support of two academic departments in the College.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Recruitment – Plan, staff, and execute the college’s recruiting events such as: University events (e.g., Green and White Days, Orientation, WOW Week, Rec Fest, ECHO, Scores, International Festival). Visiting high schools and college fairs. Organizing and hosting high school field trips and tours to the business building. Manage inventory of promotional items for recruitment initiatives. Conduct research and analysis to improve student recruitment effectiveness. Create marketing materials for recruitment such as leaflets, posters, and handouts. Collaborate with the University recruitment office. Gather and forward potential student details to the University recruitment office when representatives are not present at the event. Supervise a graduate assistant supporting recruitment activities.
2. Administrative Support – Provide administrative assistance to faculty and staff in two academic departments. Compose correspondence and manage mailings. Enter course schedules Maintain confidential student records Order and maintain office supplies and materials. Handle communications, including answering calls, emails, and greeting internal/external guests. Manage graduate assistants and develop their work schedules. Use the university’s Banner database for departmental accounting, budgeting, and purchasing. Communicate university policies and procedures effectively. Perform other duties as assigned for both roles.

Required Qualifications
Education | Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Experience | 1+ year of proven office management experience. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.). Social media skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Time management skills. Ability to track and prioritize multiple tasks. Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
