Position Salary Range: $51,500 - $75,000 per year; DOE
The Center on Reinventing Public Education (CRPE), the nation's leading source for transformative, evidence-based ideas about public education, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic professional to serve as our next project Coordinator. This role provides critical support to CRPE's research and operations teams by managing schedules, coordinating project logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of various organizational initiatives.
 
The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with senior leadership and staff to support project planning, resource coordination, and administrative functions essential to CRPE's mission. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, tech-savvy professional who excels at managing multiple priorities, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The Center on Reinventing Public Education (CRPE) is a nonpartisan research center founded in 1993 and affiliated with Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation.

CRPE stands at the intersection of enduring challenges (like educational inequity) and emerging ones (like technological disruption). While areas of focus vary over time, the Research Analyst will support projects specifically focused on 1) the conditions necessary for school systems to sustain bold innovation and 2) building a national research agenda and conducting responsive research on AI in education.

Essential Duties:
  • Manage complex scheduling for senior leadership, including coordination of internal meetings, external stakeholder engagements, and research team activities
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports in accordance with organizational and university policies
  • Maintain and update contact databases and stakeholder information systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of information across various projects
  • Build and manage AirTable databases for one-off projects and special initiatives, generating reports and identifying opportunities to streamline organizational processes
  • Track and document CRPE's organizational impact metrics, including research dissemination, earned media mentions, and stakeholder engagement
  • Provide project assistant support, including meeting coordination, materials preparation, supply orders, and preparation of designated reports and summaries
Desired Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or operations roles, preferably within nonprofit, research, or education organizations
  •  Advanced skills with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, AirTable or similar database management tools, and project management platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience managing complex travel arrangements and expense reporting systems
Working Environment:
  • CRPE offices are located in Seattle, Washington, but CRPE welcomes remote applicants from anywhere in the United States
  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting, subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.
  • Regular activities require the ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to the resolution of conflicts.
  • Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as necessary on short or limited notice
  • Position receives regular review of objectives.
