Job Summary

MathWorks, a leading developer of engineering software, is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Delivery Manager to work alongside our expert engineers in the Consulting Services Group. The successful candidate will manage our most complex and strategic consulting projects, and continuously improve our project management methods and processes. This role requires established project management skills and customer-facing experience to ensure the successful delivery of consulting engagements.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resourcing, budget, and risk mitigation
Serve as the primary business point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Support cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and subject matter experts, to deliver exceptional client experiences
Lead and own the implementation of Project Management best practices to ensure the quality and consistency of project execution
Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, risks, and issues
Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies
Lead and/or support strategic internal and process improvement projects

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.

Previous experience working in consulting, or in supporting consulting teams
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
Outgoing, persistent, and tenacious; able to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity

Expertise in process improvement and change management
Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, finance, or healthcare is advantageous
