The role involves managing university building projects by coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and legal requirements throughout the design and construction phases.

Manage scope, schedule, budget, and legal authority of multiple construction projects from initiation through warranty.
Administer contracts with consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Communicate with campus stakeholders, external partners, architects, engineers, and contractors regularly.
Oversee quality control through design reviews and enforce contract compliance during construction.
Handle projects ranging from $150,000 to $50,000,000 in value.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or Construction Management required with relevant project management experience.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, design standards, contract administration, scheduling, and cost management.
Preferred experience managing diverse, technically complex projects autonomously in institutional or university settings.
Salary starts at a minimum of $87,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
