The University Project Management Office (UPMO) is seeking a highly competent, motivated and organized individual with strong communication skills to serve as a Project Manager for large scale, high priority, projects that maximize efficiency and effectiveness of university-wide systems and resources.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Three or more years of project management experience.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.
  • Experience with change management methodologies, especially Prosci ADKAR.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and ERP software (e.g., Workday, Oracle).
  • High attention to deadlines, budgetary guidelines, and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment..
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork that helps create a supportive, inclusive, productive learning and working environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in higher education or large-scale transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with business process improvement, digital tools, and AI.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and technical staff.
