Job Summary
Purdue University’s award-winning in-house marketing agency, Purdue Brand Studio, is seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to help shape the creative work of one of the world’s leading universities. As a key member of Purdue Brand Studio, the Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of creative initiatives—from concept to completion—ensuring that project goals, tasks and timelines are met with precision. This role serves as the operational hub of the creative process, coordinating the work of designers, writers, developers and other team members while partnering closely with their team strategist.
The Project Manager develops and manages detailed project plans using professional project management tools, defines milestones, assigns responsibilities and ensures alignment between creative, strategic and operational priorities. Acting as both facilitator and problem-solver, this individual proactively identifies risks, manages competing demands and keeps teams focused and accountable.

What We’re Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
- Two (2) years’ successfully managing creative projects or working with creative teams in an agency or marketing department setting
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Skills:
- Ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams and build consensus
- Effective management of multiple projects, teams, and priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to quickly develop and implement solutions
- Customer service orientation with a “can-do” attitude
- Affinity for detail-oriented tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Focus on continuous quality improvement
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with external and internal constituents
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Workfront, especially within a creative agency environment
