Job Summary 
The Project Manager drives cross-functional projects of low to medium complexity. Leads distributed teams, runs multiple projects simultaneously and shepherds projects through the project life cycle. Collaborates within the project team and manages stakeholders to drive projects to completion. Possess basic understanding of project management best practices and PMO standards to manage assigned projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
Lead project team and key stakeholders (business and technical) through project initiation to define project charter, perform stakeholder analysis, identify project approach, and plan and facilitate project kickoff. Drive the project planning stage and facilitate team collaboration to identify requirements and develop a project plan that includes budget, timeline, risk register, resource planning, and communication approach. Facilitate team collaboration to develop a change management plan based on process analysis, marketing and communication, and training needs for all project stakeholders. Manage project risks and create risk response strategies and options including escalation and mitigation. Monitor project activities through the project life cycle for quality and efficiency to ensure alignment with project goals and approach. Provide and communicate project status updates to leadership, key stakeholders, and project teams through the project lifecycle. Guide project team to use best practices of project management and PMO standards and develop and maintain required project documentation through the project life cycle. Perform other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications  | Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field. Two (2) years of experience in leading projects or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role.

Preferred Qualifications  | Three (3) or more years of experience in leading projects PMP certification. Experience with Change Management and resource capacity. Experience in creating statements of work, and vendor evaluation and managing contractor resources. Experience using Project Management tools such as MS Project, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  | Basic knowledge of project management methodologies, change management techniques, IT concepts, and current IT trends. Ability to manage cross-functional projects of low to moderate complexity and manage some projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills. Professional problem-solving and risk management skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills. Professional meeting and facilitation skills for all types of engagements. Professional listening and writing skills, good executive presence, verbally articulate. Values communication in all directions: up, out and down. Excellent conflict resolution skills facilitating timely decisions when needed. Leadership skills to manage teams effectively, maintain healthy professional relationships with peers and stakeholders, and promote a culture of collaboration, ownership and accountability.
