Job Summary/Basic Function
The Project Manager II (temporary) is responsible for complex grant-funded program execution, business development, and special project data initiatives. This grant-funded role balances daily grant operations with long-term strategic growth. In addition to overseeing grant-funded educational programming, the PM II actively sources new funding opportunities, works to enhance existing partnerships, and develops and maintains data tracking models needed to measure program success.
Required Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience managing federal funding or strict grant compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least four years of progressive project management experience, with a track record of scaling responsibilities
  • Experience working in Higher Education, specifically dealing with federal grant reporting, institutional data, or cross-departmental operations
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, and supervisory leadership experience
  • Advanced technical aptitude with business process modeling, data engineering, and data visualization tools
