Project Manager IV for Information Services Full Description

A Project Manager leads projects through the full project life cycle, ensuring delivery within defined scope, schedule, and resource constraints. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages risks and progress, and ensures alignment with the University's priorities and stakeholder expectations.

This position will support the new Student Information System (SIS)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program in IT Development.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Own organizational readiness and adoption for Liberty's multi-year SIS/ERP replacement effort.

2. Establish the SIS/ERP program's change management framework.

3. Create and implement stakeholder engagement plan.

4. Establish and manage governance and accountability for decision making and committee establishment.

5. Coordinate readiness activities with development teams and departments.

6. Create and iterate through impact assessment process.

7. Define adoption risk categories and track mitigation plans.

8. Build a communication strategy and calendar in collaboration with communications team across the university.

9. Define readiness KPIs and scorecard criteria. Measure participation and engagement.  

10. Adhere to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary and professional manner. 

11. Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU's Christian model and Mission - Training Champions for Christ.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS 

Education and Experience  

1. Strong technical experience with subject matter expertise across multiple systems, processes, or products 

2. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.  

3. Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience is required. 

4. PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or CSPO. 

5. 5-6+ years of project management or related professional experience is required.  

6. Experience in change or release management, preferably on a large, cross-institutional level.

Pay Range

Compensation is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, along with University needs and external market conditions. Market benchmarks may be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity to ensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensation structure.


The position may also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.
