Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | Part-Time/Temporary, Academic Coach & Student Support, 20 hours/week at $20/hour, USCA Student Success Center
Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Academic Coaching, Tutoring, and Early Warning and in collaboration with the USCA Library, this position provides direct academic coaching to students and supports the daily operations of the Student Success Center. This position assists students in developing effective learning strategies and academic skills. The position plays a key role in delivering and promoting high-quality student support services and maintaining a welcoming, efficient center environment. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in academic support, tutoring, teaching, counseling, or a related educational setting. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a student-centered environment. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Proficiency with standard office software and scheduling systems. Preferred: Experience training student employees. Experience with EAB Navigate. Familiarity with tutoring center operations or peer tutoring models. Knowledge of student development theory or disability services.
