  • Manually support the testing of new features across iOS, Android, and Web, including regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing 
  • Execute sanity checks on Duolingo release and branch builds, and help validate bug fixes before and after deployment 
  • Write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports, and collaborate with engineers and teammates to help diagnose issues 
  • Learn Duolingo products deeply and ask thoughtful questions about expected behavior, edge cases, and learner experience 
  • Identify potential quality issues and raise risks with guidance from more senior QA teammates 
  • Help prioritize testing tasks within your assigned projects, focusing on areas with high learner impact 
  • Advocate for Duolingo learners by evaluating features for correctness, clarity, and usability 
  • Follow and contribute to existing QA processes, documentation, and procedures, while learning how quality scales across teams
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams, communicating progress, questions, and blockers clearly in a fast-paced environment

$68,000—$78,000 USD
