IIDS and its RCDS team provide advanced computing, data, and software solutions that power research and innovation across the UofI. RCDS supports projects spanning AI, environmental science, HPC, and data management, helping stakeholders turn ideas into impactful results. The QA Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and usability of applications and data systems developed within this collaborative environment. Working alongside developers, data scientists, and project managers, the QA Analyst will design and implement both manual and automated testing workflows, contribute to continuous integration pipelines, and help shape best practices in software quality across diverse projects. |
| Position Overview | The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst ensures the reliability, functionality, usability and performance of University of Idaho software systems and applications. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test processes to maintain high-quality standards across all projects. The QA Analyst collaborates with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to identify issues early and ensure delivery of secure, stable, and user-friendly systems. Duties may include:
