As the Quality Assurance and Operations Manager, you will:

  • Manage the quality assurance program, monitor inspection frequency and accuracy, review reports for compliance, conduct audits, identify service gaps, and support improvement efforts.
  • Manage data integrity through complex entry, document review, report development, and maintenance of internal databases to support informed decision-making.
  • Manage workload inspection data, including GIS-based visualizations and pictorial representations to support analysis and planning.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements that improve operations and ensure integration with existing workflows.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to ensure accurate data flow between systems, coordinate report requests, and communicate operational updates across assigned areas.
  • Coordinate special service requests and work orders with managers, and serve as the primary contact for departmental communication and interactions with the Service Desk.
  • Manage and participate in the on-call process to ensure appropriate coverage and effective response to operational needs.
  • Provide logistical support for special events, programs, and projects.
  • Oversee laundry operations and ensure alignment with service standards, operational efficiency, and resource management.
  • Manage departmental electronic devices, and develop, implement, maintain a replacement program to ensure functionality, security, and alignment with operational needs.
  • Oversee selection, inventory, and purchasing of apparel, and administer the shoe voucher program, including distribution, tracking, and payment coordination.
  • Lead customer service initiatives, including the administration of online surveys, data analysis, and management of follow-up communications.
  • Support onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Develop presentations, publications, and materials to support strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee weekend crew operations and coordinate cross-team support to ensure continuous coverage and continuity of work while providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and training and promoting compliance with safety standards, policies, and required training to support effective job performance and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and communicate performance expectations and assess, document, and evaluate employee performance while participating in hiring activities, recommending salary adjustments, and initiating corrective action as needed to address performance or conduct concerns.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in business, operations management, facilities management, public administration, logistics or supply chain management, quality assurance, other related field or study, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Experience managing operational processes or service delivery functions.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with data systems or tools to support decision-making and reporting.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and technology platforms.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective and independent problem solver.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to enter, manage, and analyze data accurately to support decision-making.
  • Able to organize work for self and others in a high-volume environment.
  • Ability to learn new systems and serve as a point of contact for upgrades and/or system changes.
  • Ability to manage and analyze data to support operational decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, facilities management, public administration, logistics or supply chain management, quality assurance, other related field or study, or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Experience in a complex service environment such as facilities, logistics, or institutional operations. Experience leading or supporting process improvement efforts. Experience using TMA, CMMS, Deltek, and/or other similar software.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or GIS-based systems.
  • Knowledge of facilities operations, equipment, and safety practices in a commercial setting.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • First Aid certification.
