Rutgers University is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician. The role involves supporting client product manufacturing at the Rutgers Food Innovation Center by ensuring production operates safely and complies with food safety regulations. The technician calibrates equipment, conducts inspections and swabbing, collects data during production, and performs internal audits.

Support client product manufacturing ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Calibrate thermometers, scales, and pH meters.
Conduct pre-operational inspections of production rooms.
Perform ATP and Allergen swabbing and assist with pH, temperature, and weight measurements during production.
Document all test data and participate in internal audits and environmental monitoring inspections.
Use knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 1-2 years in QA/QC in a food-related business.
Work environment includes wet, cold, hot, and slippery conditions with temperature-controlled rooms.
Part-time position (up to 19.9 hours per week) with a salary range of $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.
Position is fully on-site at the Food Innovation Center in Bridgeton, NJ.
