Overview
The Re-entry Advisor supports student retention and re-enrollment efforts by maintaining regular contact with former, absent, and at-risk students to encourage persistence and successful return to school. This role conducts outreach, provides information on available resources, coordinates re-entry opportunities, and assists students in overcoming barriers to enrollment.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00. Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite).

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily outreach to former students through phone calls, email, text messages, and other communication methods to encourage re-entry and continued enrollment
  • Maintain ongoing contact with prospective re-entry students and document outreach activities, follow-up efforts, and outcomes in designated systems
  • Meet with students who are considering withdrawal to discuss available resources, re-entry opportunities, and next steps for returning to school
  • Contact absent students to identify barriers to attendance, provide support resources, and encourage continued participation
  • Participate in weekly campus accountability meetings and provide updates on student outreach activities and re-entry progress
  • Support campus re-entry initiatives and retention efforts designed to increase student re-enrollment and persistence
  • Assist the Student Affairs team in connecting students with internal and external support services
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, alumni, and community partners while adhering to confidentiality requirements

Qualifications
  • HS Diploma / GED (required)
  • Associate degree in related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years' professionally relevant work experience (required)
  • Specific experience in student services, admissions, or student retention (preferred)
