Overview

The Re-entry Advisor supports student retention and re-enrollment efforts by maintaining regular contact with former, absent, and at-risk students to encourage persistence and successful return to school. This role conducts outreach, provides information on available resources, coordinates re-entry opportunities, and assists students in overcoming barriers to enrollment.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00. Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite).

Responsibilities

Conduct daily outreach to former students through phone calls, email, text messages, and other communication methods to encourage re-entry and continued enrollment
Maintain ongoing contact with prospective re-entry students and document outreach activities, follow-up efforts, and outcomes in designated systems
Meet with students who are considering withdrawal to discuss available resources, re-entry opportunities, and next steps for returning to school
Contact absent students to identify barriers to attendance, provide support resources, and encourage continued participation
Participate in weekly campus accountability meetings and provide updates on student outreach activities and re-entry progress
Support campus re-entry initiatives and retention efforts designed to increase student re-enrollment and persistence
Assist the Student Affairs team in connecting students with internal and external support services
Provide excellent customer service to students, alumni, and community partners while adhering to confidentiality requirements

Qualifications

HS Diploma / GED (required)
Associate degree in related field (preferred)
Minimum of two (2) years' professionally relevant work experience (required)
Specific experience in student services, admissions, or student retention (preferred)
