 Position Details 
Advertising/Posting Title  | REM Research Operations Lead
Posting Summary  | Coordinate research activities under the supervision of the Director of Emergency Medicine Research and the Vice Chair of Research. Assist in clinical study design and execution, recruitment of new grants/clinical studies, budget reporting, preparation of Institutional Review Board Submissions, and supervise research technicians and students on aspects of patient/subject involvement in the Emergency Department setting. Perform data collection, analysis and presentation, oversight of sample collection and processing, including performing phlebotomy per site policy and processing specimens (centrifuge, aliquot) and maintaining local repository of samples. The main responsibilities of this position include: Preparation of IRB submissions; contracting support for multi-institution projects; data related projects, including creation of data dictionaries, data cleaning, analysis and preparation for publication or presentation; and development of REM, including business planning.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)  | Bachelor’s degree in related field and two to four years’ related experience required. Specialized EMT licensure approved certification and/or licensure required.
