Remote Educational ASL Interpreter - Middle School (8th Grade)
We’re excited to offer a fully remote opportunity for a dedicated Educational ASL Interpreter to support an 8th-grade student in a virtual middle school setting. In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one interpretation services that ensure equitable access to instruction, meaningful classroom participation, and a positive learning experience in a remote environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver clear, accurate ASL interpretation during live instruction and related educational activities
  • Support effective communication between the student, educators, and peers
  • Collaborate with the instructional team to promote student engagement and success
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all school-based interactions

Qualifications & Experience
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
  • EIPA score of 3.0 or higher
  • Previous K–12 or educational interpreting experience preferred
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional remote workspace

Position Details
  • Location: Fully remote (EST time zone)
  • Schedule: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM EST, lunch 12:10-12:50
  • Caseload: One 8th-grade student
  • Pay: $30/hour
  • Employment Type: W-2 position with medical, vision, and dental benefits
