Job Summary  | The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst to support the faculty and staff of our fast-paced research center. This role will contribute to the center’s mission of advancing clinical and translational research and improving health outcomes across Kentucky.
Since its inception in 2006, the CCTS has provided substantial research funding and trainee support at the University of Kentucky, with a focus on early-stage translational research. The center aims to accelerate discoveries through an integrated research environment that promotes better health across the region. In support of this mission, the Research Analyst will serve as a team member of the CCTS Clinical Research Dev & Ops Center.



The Research Analyst is responsible for performing assays under close supervision of the lab director and will perform both chemiluminescent and electrochemical assays on human samples. This employee will gather scientific data and provide research data to investigators and provide support for Biomarker Analysis Laboratory processes that involve clinical procedures such as frequent glucose monitoring and muscle biopsies. Assist in monitoring inventory of lab supplies. This employee will organize and maintain supplies necessary for the conduct of research studies and keep the lab clean and organized.



Successful candidates will possess experience with assay based technology, attention to detail, accuracy, data analysis, interpretation of data, dependability, organization, and the ability to work as a team member.
