Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. | At least two years’ experience facilitating evidence-based public health programs with partners at medical schools, universities, and public health agencies and associations in Texas. Hold a graduate degree in public health or related health discipline. Ability to read, write, and conduct health research using basic social scientific research skills. Experience coordinating pre- and post-award grant activities for funded programs. Experience working virtually with multi-site research teams and public health coalitions. Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently, and as a member of a team. Effective professional communication skills. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom.

Job Description | The Translational Health Research Center (THRC) at Texas State University facilitates applied research and events through partnerships with TXST faculty, staff, and students, businesses, community members, nonprofits, and government organizations. THRC is currently seeking a new Research and Community Senior Program Specialist to plan, lead, and facilitate translational public health research and community programs for THRC.
