Overview:

This study investigates whether mindfulness practices led by teachers can help reduce educator stress and enhance student prosocial behavior.

This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in mindfulness, education, psychology, or research. Responsibilities:

Travel to assigned school sites to conduct fidelity checks in classrooms during school hours (3x per week per teacher).
Attend weekly meetings with the Principal Investigator (PI).
Maintain clear, organized records of observations and findings.
Participate in training sessions on mindfulness and fidelity check procedures.
Estimated time commitment: 5–10 hours/week, depending on teacher participation.
Commute time is compensated up to 10 miles daily.
No prior research experience required, but preferred—training provided.
Opportunity to contribute as a co-author on future publications.

Qualifications:

Must have access to a reliable transportation and be willing to commute to schools in the Salt Lake City and Jordan School Districts.
Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
