Job Summary | Develops cross platform application that allows substance abuse treatment providers to register provided services and substance users be matched with best available treatment quickly and efficiently. Ensures highly secure application. Creates, composes, and edits administrative and technical correspondence and documentation. Assists with verbal and written presentations of research results. Collects and assists in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data from research results. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, computer science or related field. Experience developing web applications.
Preferred Qualifications | Experience developing using Composer for PHP as package manager and frameworks like Symfony or Laravel. Experience working with ReactJD.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) | Knowledge of JavaScript, php, git, MySQL, Laravel, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack and of basic shell commands. Knowledge of version control technologies e.g. git/GitHub. Ability to prioritize data security with knowledge of network security. Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, critical thinking and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to be reliable and punctual in reporting to work as scheduled. dependable with strong work habits; able to manage time and priorities and be service oriented. Possess a high degree of confidentiality to available information. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
