Assists university researchers in preparing and reviewing data management and sharing plans for federally funded projects.
Serves as a liaison between IT services, research administration software vendors, and campus research stakeholders.
Provides expertise, support, and training for electronic pre- and post-award research support systems.
Collaborates on implementing the Research Data Security Policy, including security requirements, data inventory, and classification procedures.
Works within the Office of Research & Creative Activity under Academic Affairs, specifically the Research Compliance department.
Requires a bachelor's degree in business, technology, analytics, research field, or related area, with 0-2 years of data security experience preferred.
Preferred knowledge includes research data security tools (e.g., MavGrants, NuRamp), regulatory compliance (Uniform Guidance, Grants.gov), and export control certifications (ECoP for EAR and ITAR) or willingness to obtain certification.
Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually; position is full-time, exempt, with partial remote work option.
