Job Summary 
With expanded knowledge of research development and with increasing independence, this role supports and implements a wide range of strategic, proactive, and capacity building activities designed to enable and enhance research and may include strategic research advancement, communication of research and research opportunities, enhancement of collaboration and team science, and proposal development.

Responsibilities   
1. Supports data collection and reporting needs.
2. Support formatting and basic copy-editing including layout.
3. Provide proposal and award information-related metrics
4. Disseminate grant opportunities and proposal development tools.
5. Operations support for community building – help to organize events, seminars, etc.
6. Has developed specialized skills or is multi-skilled through job-related training and on-the-job experience.
7. Identify areas of institutional research priorities by collaborating with Faculty and/or Principal
8. Investigators and other key personnel for strategic research.
9. Coordinate resources and tools to promote collaboration.
10. Serve as institutional representatives to the university community and external visitors and may provide information and analysis to support formal partnerships with external entities.
11. Begin to manage initiatives related to strategic research via project management and central team coordination.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree + two years of related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).

9. Willingness and ability to work flexibly and on short notice to meet tight grant deadlines
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
11. Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
