Advertised Job Summary  | Under general supervision, the Research Program Coordinator facilitates research-related activities for students and faculty conducting research. The Coordinator manages all research expenditures for students and faculty. The Coordinator serves as primary support for departmental research projects. The Coordinator serves as the Student Hire Representative for all research students. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Job Duty  | Manages and oversees programs and projects associated with Medical Student Research, including, but not limited to, SOARinG, Summer Research Zero-Credit Elective, Research Scholars, Student Research Fellowship program, Medical Student Research Stakeholder group, research newsletter, student research travel, etc. Manages and oversees finances associated with the student research budget/account (student travel, research supply purchase, stipends for fellowship students, etc.).
