The essential job functions of this position require you to be indoors; sit for extended periods of time; handle light-weight objects up to 10 pounds; operate a computer and navigate multiple computer systems; communicate effectively through written, verbal and non-verbal mediums with individuals from various backgrounds; provide excellent customer service to all customers; maintain high levels of concentration and mental attention; and have strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills.
Shift
Monday – Friday 8:00 am EST – 5:00 pm EST; and additional hours as required.
Job Summary
The Office of Sponsored Projects Administration (OSPA) is seeking a Research Training Specialist Senior.

This position is eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to …
  • Independently deliver training courses, e-learning, video tutorials, and learning simulations
  • Identify gaps in staff’s knowledge and create active and engaging training courses targeted at improving staff performance
  • Edit training courses and materials to ensure accuracy of content
  • Serve as OSPA’s point of contact and subject matter expert for the development and implementation of electronic research administration systems
  • Develop training curriculum that codifies the body of knowledge staff should have for their job functions in addition to each stage of their career in Research Administration
  • Organize and run working meetings with the appropriate subject matter experts and leadership to review, provide input, and finalize curriculum
