How can you make an impact? 
McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational resources, is looking for a Sales and Commissions Analyst for our School division. The Sales and Commissions Analyst will ensure the integrity of commission payouts and reporting of sales data and commissions. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage commission plans, monitor performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to drive sales productivity.
 
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:   
  • Responsible for managing the commission calculations, tools, and payouts.
  • Analyzes sales performance data to calculate accurate commission payouts.
  • Researches and solves data discrepancies; works with cross-functional teams to identify the root-cause of issues and provides recommended solutions.
  • Partners with sales leadership to understand goals and recommend enhancement to commission plans accordingly.
  • Reviews commission tools and financial processes annually and provides enhancement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to audit reporting and payouts, ensure accuracy and consistency of data being presented.
  • Maintians accurate records of commission plans, calculations, and payouts; ensures adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Generates reporting on commission trends, discrepancies, and forecasts.
 
We’re looking for someone with: 
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of applicable experience.
  • Experience in operations or financial role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and performance metrics.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills with the ability to develop alternative solutions.
  • Skilled at managing time and priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Proven to maintain a high level of accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and database management.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
  • Experience with Alteryx and Tableau is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific sales practices and trends is preferred.

The pay range for this position is between $62,000 - $90,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
