Sales and Training Coordinator/Market Coordinator Job Description
Position Title: Sales and Training Coordinator (STC)or Lancome Market Coordinator
Reporting To: Lancôme Sales and Training Executive
Location: Remote Phoenix Arizona
Position Objective: To achieve retail sales goals, build advocacy and build a loyal Lancome clientele through Training and motivating counter teams, MBBAs and Artists. The Market Coordinator will also monitor and execute merchandising standards, inventory issues and BA sourcing, hiring and training.
% Of Time in Field: Majority of time spent in stores, schedule to be determined with the STE/RSD. Half-day office days needed at times for administrative work/calls/etc.
Responsibilities:
BA, MBBA and Artist Training and Development
- Help source, Develop, motivate and train Lancome Beauty Advisors, through in-store coaching
- Actively plan, execute, and follow-up on new hire training using the Lancôme onboarding program
- Work with and train MBBA’s and other store associates to gain advocacy for Lancome
- Recruit, train and retain Lancome Artists/Freelancers
- Ensure that BA’s leverage Social media/digital assets to drive retail sales
Special Events
- Work with Counter team to plan and execute appropriate events by-retailer
- Assist STE in major launches, national and regional makeup artist events planning, set up and execution
- Tracking and timely recapping of event statistics to STE and store management.
Communication
- Daily communication with STE’(s) regarding business, coaching efforts, schedule, store changes, event recaps and education opportunities.
- Communication with store management and Retail Partners regarding business, events and staff performance/feedback as needed.
- Monthly Communication with RSD
Product knowledge
- Compete all Lancôme seminars and beauty bytes themselves and advocate for participation from as many BAs and MBBAs as possible.
- Maintain an awareness of the competitors’ key products and trends.
- Adhere to hygiene and image guidelines.
Requirements:
- Formal beauty/makeup trade school training, cosmetic industry experience or similar is preferred.
- High school diploma required--Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Able to lift boxes up to 30 pounds
- Good communication, motivational and organizational skills
