Job Description:
NOTE: This role is based in New York City and encourages a minimum of two days per week in the SoHo office. Some roles or teams may require additional in-office attendance if the essential functions of the role require it.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a fast-paced, high profile position, supporting the Sr. Vice President of Trade Sales. From administrative tasks, to sales reporting, this role works with every department within Trade and is perfect for a motivated, detail-oriented, and independent person who wants to learn about Children's publishing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and distribute weekly sales reports and analysis to Leadership team, including seasonal updates.
Coordinate and plan three national sales conferences a year; including organizing and running a weekly meeting, creating agenda, organizing conference, maintaining attendee list, creating and distributing meeting materials, maintaining budget, etc.
Send agenda and notes for two Sales Review meetings a month—coordinate with SVP Trade Sales.
Update terms of sales of sale, including meet comp agreements and stock offers. Create and distribute laydown contracts.
Communicate Sales feedback to publishers in monthly call reports. Field Publisher requests for sales data, business reviews, and partner with marketing on sales assets.
Maintain new rep set up and account coding in Oracle, approve invoices in Catalyst
Administrative assistance for SVP Trade Sales including calendar management, arranging business travel, managing expense reports, etc.
