Once solutions are in place, our Professional Education Services (PES) team provides expert implementation and ongoing support, helping districts adopt and sustain high-quality educational resources that truly make a difference in teaching and learning.
 
About the Role
Join us as a Sales Associate, a role designed for motivated, proactive individuals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the K–12 education space. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our educational services by identifying, engaging, and connecting with new potential clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in outreach, enjoys building relationships, and is eager to contribute to the success of schools and districts across the country. You’ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, supporting the team in creating opportunities that directly impact student outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Research and identify prospective district-level contacts using platforms such as HubSpot and Outreach.
  • Conduct cold outreach via phone and email with messaging tailored to each state’s standards and priorities.
  • Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls for Account Executives.
  • Maintain a clean, accurate, and up-to-date contact database.
Campaign Execution
  • Partner with Marketing and Account Executives to launch customized, state-specific campaigns aligned with educational standards, funding priorities, and key timelines.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, lead engagement, and conversion metrics.
Sales Support
  • Prepare briefing documents and meeting notes for Account Executives.
  • Support territory strategy by regularly updating regional maps, school calendars, and procurement timelines.
  • Participate in conferences and contribute to other sales-related activities to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives throughout pre-sales and post-sales processes to ensure client satisfaction and success.
Collaboration
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated outreach.
  • Share on-the-ground insights regarding messaging effectiveness by state, region, or decision-maker role.
 
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing (experience in education or edtech is a plus).
  • Proven success in outbound outreach, lead generation, and cold prospecting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling cold emails.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and outreach tools (e.g., Outreach, Apollo).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Familiarity with K–12 market dynamics and procurement cycles is a plus

Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000 with a generous variable sales compensation plan.
