Working collaboratively with the Strategic Accounts Team and the Regional Directors, the Sales Consultant will help to support the sales process by providing key administrative activities such as content mapping, systems updating, order processing/review, billing reviews, contract alignment and other duties as assigned.

What you'll do here:Support sales execution and administrative operations

  • Plan, organize, and support selling strategies in partnership with sales leadership and other sales personnel.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support that enables sales teams to focus on customer engagement and revenue-generating activity.
  • Update and maintain Salesforce, including opportunity, account, contact, activity, and territory information as needed.
  • Pull and organize CRM and Sales Operations reports to support opportunity analysis, territory planning, forecasting, and follow-up.
  • Assist with contract alignment, order processing and review, billing questions or reviews, and related customer or internal follow-through.
  • Manage and support content mapping exercises and other customer-specific sales support activities.
  • Support marketing and sales initiatives as they relate to account development, customer engagement, and territory execution.
  • Coordinate effectively with Sales Management, Account Directors, Customer Success, Solutions Specialists, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Identify process gaps, customer trends, or recurring needs and communicate recommendations that can improve sales execution or customer support.

Maintain effective coverage of assigned open territories

  • Support Account Plan activities to optimize sales and/or renewal potential within assigned open territories.
  • Work with Regional Directors and Account Directors to achieve open-territory and regional sales goals and to ensure continuity of customer coverage.
  • Provide support to Account Directors to prospect, qualify, advance, and close appropriate sales opportunities through phone, email, virtual meetings, and technology demonstrations.
  • Participate in account planning and handoffs to ensure open-territory activity is documented and can transition smoothly when permanent territory ownership is established.

Manage communications, reporting, and team support

  • Exhibit proficient use of technology and communication tools in performing routine job responsibilities and customer interactions.
  • Provide timely status updates and reporting to the manager and other sales leaders as required.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external customers across multiple time zones.
  • Fulfill team support roles and special projects as required, balancing urgency, customer impact, and business priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred

  • BA or BS degree strongly preferred
  • At least two (2) years of successful sales (or customer interaction) experience
  • Direct sales, marketing or editorial experience
  • Experience working with digital sales products/applications and contact management systems, such as Salesforce

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. 


In this position,  you will be eligible to participate in the company's variable Sales incentive compensation program.

$41,500.00 - $53,950.00 USD

Target Variable Compensation:

12,500.00 USD Annual: Individual Target
