Reports to: Senior Sales Manager

WPS is seeking a confident and curious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing sales team.

You’ll help connect customers with the solutions they need, while working side-by-side with Customer Service Representatives to strengthen relationships, uncover opportunities, and drive growth.

In this role, you’ll combine data analysis, problem-solving, and tenacious follow-through to keep opportunities moving forward. You’ll also help shape strategy by sharing customer insights, identifying trends, and working with teammates to continuously improve how we serve our market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Customer Service Representatives to retain customers and convert opportunities into sales
  • Proactively identify, contact, and qualify opportunities through phone calls, emails, and inbound lead follow-up
  • Prepare quotes and sales orders for targeted accounts, converting open quotes into confirmed sales
  • Engage customers with confidence and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions to uncover pain points and priorities
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads, tracking all interactions and outcomes in our CRM
  • Schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads to the Regional Assessment Consultant
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer challenges
  • Meet and exceed KPI’s (quote/sales order conversation, leads, meetings booked, etc.)
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports with data-driven results, roadblocks, and team improvements
 
Required skills and qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in sales or a customer-facing department, with a track record of achieving sales KPIs
  • Proficiency with a CRM, NetSuite and or HubSpot is desired
  • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with expertise in researching, interpreting, and presenting sales reports
  • No task is too small, along with a positive attitude and ability to easily change priorities
