We’re expanding our sales team and looking for a motivated, tech-savvy, and relationship-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us scale. You’ll be joining a high-energy team where your voice matters and your work directly shapes our future.

What You'll Do
– Own and manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound leads
– Conduct high-quality discovery calls and product overviews via phone and Zoom
– Qualify leads and schedule demos for Account Executives
– Work closely with Sales Leadership to optimize outreach strategies and conversion rates
– Use CRM tools and automation platforms to manage your day efficiently
– Represent ReadTheory at select education conferences and events
– Help iterate on sales processes, messaging, and infrastructure as we grow
Requirements
– 2+ years of experience as an SDR or BDR, ideally in EdTech or SaaS
– Demonstrates clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
– Comfortable making cold calls and speaking on Zoom; you build trust quickly
– Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a startup environment
– Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., CRM platforms, Zoom, email automation, LinkedIn)
– A growth mindset and genuine excitement about education
Bonus Points
– Experience working with K–12 decision-makers (principals, curriculum directors, etc.)
– Passion for literacy, reading, or education more broadly
