Sales Representatives are experienced communicators who are highly organized, data-driven, and have the ability to quickly learn and leverage new technologies to maximize the impact of McGraw Hill solutions on educators and learners. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit - is willing to seek out, engage and close business all while working in a dynamic/complex environment. Intellectual curiosity and an appreciation for educational institutions are keys to success in this role. 

 

This position is remote, with 75% of the time being spent in the field. Candidates must live in Arizona. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer within the United States. 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Attain and surpass sales goals by advancing the sale, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market penetration.
  • Develop deep understanding of the K-12 space, including fragile populations, while identifying and influencing customer needs, maintaining profiles, and building new contacts/customers.
  • Create and execute strategic territory and marketing plans with strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through to ensure customer availability, visibility, and promotional activity.
  • Utilize and adapt to multiple software programs, platforms, and devices while independently researching, synthesizing, and applying information from various resources.
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally to influence sales, marketing, and product development strategies, while collaborating with key stakeholders and supporting a positive team environment.
  • Operate in a remote, travel-intensive role (up to 75% by ground), managing company resources including a vehicle, credit card, home office, and computer equipment.

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a proven track record of high achievement and success.
  • Preferred 2 years of sales experience, including strong knowledge of the K-12 space.
  • Competitive, driven mindset with a passion to succeed, combined with the ability to think creatively and solve problems independently.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to adapt in a team environment and navigate change effectively.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills, with proficiency in productivity software (Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
  • Ability to travel up to 75% (including occasional overnight stays), maintain a valid driver's license, and lift up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this position is between $67,700 - $85,000 annually.
