How can you make an impact?

We are looking for a Sales Representative to drive new and expansion business by selling Core and Personalized Curriculum and Technology Solutions to K-12 schools and districts. This role will focus on solution-based selling and building trusted partnerships with educators and key district and school-level decision-makers, including Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, Curriculum and Technology Leaders, Principals, and Teachers. The ideal candidate is curious, passionate about education, customer-focused, and skilled at identifying customer needs and developing tailored solutions.

 

This role is open to applicants who are authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory, which includes Northern Kentucky, Lexington, and Eastern Kentucky, to be considered. This position requires 50-75% daily travel throughout the sales territory, with occasional overnight travel.

 

What would you be doing?

  • Attaining and surpassing sales goals, with the proven ability to develop and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration.
  • Creating and executing marketing and strategic territory plans, with excellent organization and follow-through.
  • Conducting successful sales presentations and conducting and coordinating in-service presentations.
  • Understanding how the business makes money and demonstrating an ability to negotiate and manage resources based on corporate policy and profitability.
  • Using appropriate written and verbal communication skills internally and externally to facilitate a desired outcome.
  • Managing company resources, including the company-provided vehicle, company credit card, home office and computer equipment.

 

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred, with K-12 educational publishing, EdTech, or relevant K-12 educator/administrator experience strongly favored.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Product Development, Product Marketing, and Platform Development.
  • Ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of educational technology and instructional environments, including platforms, curricula, and educational infrastructure.
  • Strong organizational, territory management, and customer service skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and drive sales through creative and innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems such as Salesforce strongly preferred; must be a self-starter with strong collaboration skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this position is between $71,300 - $85,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
