Do you want to work on the forefront of educational technology to support the evolving needs of the Higher Education market in Canada?  As a Sales Representative (Higher Education), you will be tasked to execute the strategy of driving deeper digital usage through McGraw Hill’s Connect product (Software-as-a-Service), ALEKS and SimNet by delivering world class service.
The Higher Ed team is hiring a Sales Representative that will cover the Toronto East territory and be responsible for building relationships with faculty and staff to develop customized digital learning solutions that improve student learning outcomes. 
How can you make an impact?
In this role, you will contribute to increasing digital license activations, while partnering with Digital Solutions Teams, Marketing and Product Management to execute sales strategies. You will enjoy the flexibility of running your own home office while still working in a team environment. Reporting to a Sales Manager and working as part of a regional team, our Sales Representatives are experienced communicators who are highly organized, data-driven, and can quickly learn and leverage new technologies to maximize the impact of McGraw Hill solutions on educators and learners. 
This position is located in Toronto East, and candidates must currently reside in the Greater Toronto area to be considered. You will be on campus 3-4 days on a regular basis meeting with faculty and staff at specific institutions in the Greater Toronto Area. 

What can you expect from this position?
-Create customer value and grow revenue by analyzing customer needs, synthesize gathered information and recommend digital solutions that will deliver desired results. 
-Contribute to regular field reports and forecasting information to your Manager and Higher Educations Division. 
-Identify products & service development opportunities with the help of cross functional internal stakeholders. 
-Fast track your career development with excellent training and mentorship resources. 
-Develop and maintain a systematic calling plan and an up-to-date database of customer and sales information. 
-Provide consultative conversations, driving solution-based selling within digital sales. 
We’re looking for someone with: 
-Post-secondary degree/diploma within Business and/or related field required. 
-Superior interpersonal, organization and communication skills (written and oral). 
-Demonstrated passion for technology–enabled educational solutions. 
-1+ year(s) sales experience strongly preferred. 
-The ability to adapt and excel through the ever-changing Higher Education landscape. 
-Microsoft Office Applications Proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
