Position Summary/Job Duties:

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one SAT Math tutoring sessions.
  • Teach key SAT Math concepts, including:
    • Algebra
    • Advanced Math
    • Problem Solving and Data Analysis
    • Geometry and Trigonometry
  • Help student develop effective problem-solving and test-taking strategies.
  • Assess student strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create individualized lesson plans and practice assignments.
  • Review practice tests and explain solutions clearly and patiently.
  • Encourage students and build their confidence for test day.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in high school mathematics and SAT Math content.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related field, or current college student with exceptional math skills.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, organized, and dependable.
  • High SAT Math score (or equivalent standardized test performance) is a plus.
