Scope of Job
The School of Music is seeking graduate students for the School of Music Graduate Assistantship Program. Students must be accepted into the School of Music Graduate Program. In this position, graduate students will work closely with a faculty member in the School of Music.

10047 Graduate Teaching Assistant:
Duties include, but are not limited to, providing feedback and/or grading student work; monitoring/proctoring course activities; leading and/or supervising laboratory sessions, discussion sessions, or recitation labs; providing assistance to students during scheduled office hours; and performing clerical tasks associated with course instruction.

• Must be admitted to the MM graduate degree program at UTRGV.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher appropriate to the area of service
• Be registered full-time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours during the fall semester, nine semester credit hours during the spring semester, three semester credit hours during the summer session or be performing supervised research with a UTRGV faculty member) or be registered in the required number of semester credit hours to fulfill the only remaining requirements on the degree plan.
