Serve as initial contact for students on nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships.
Provide high-level guidance on award availability, eligibility, timelines, and selection processes.
Autonomously refer students to senior staff for individualized support.
Publicize Office of Distinguished Scholarships and its opportunities through presentations, campus-wide sessions, and targeted programs.
Maintain collaborative relationships with campus partners and scholarship organizations like Morehead-Cain Foundation and Robertson Scholars Program.
Support institutional endorsement processes for awards such as Rhodes, Marshall, Truman, Goldwater, Fulbright, Boren, and Churchill Scholarships by organizing selection committees and interviews.
Create and maintain student-focused resources including guides, tipsheets, videos, and statistical records.
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; preference for experience advising college students on national scholarships or related academic support.
Full-time permanent staff position, salary range $65,000 - $72,000 annually.
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.
