Job Summary

The Data Strategy and Management Team within our IT department is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with a strong focus on data architecture and security. This cross-functional role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with business partners and systems teams to ensure the integrity, quality, and security of our enterprise data.

Responsibilities

Support design for target state data architecture to manage data effectively across the enterprise with an initial focus on customer data.
Assist in the development and implementation of a data architecture governance model to ensure data is managed appropriately across the enterprise.
Assist in the analysis and development of a consistent data retention policy to reduce data exposure risk.
Evaluate Tools and Processes: Assess and recommend security and governance tools to achieve target state for customer data management.
Collaborate with Business, Information Security, and IT Stakeholders: Work with business stakeholders, product owner(s), the Information Security team, Legal, and agile development teams to understand existing data architectures, target state requirements, and impacts of proposed data architecture changes.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Communicates and presents complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with data models, data analysis and data architecture principles.
Experience with data governance frameworks
