University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is hiring a Senior Data Science Engineer. The role involves contributing to the SPIRE group by developing secure, scalable software systems that integrate AI/ML technologies and hardware implementation on low size, weight, and power (SWaP) platforms to enhance data exploitation capabilities.
Highlights
Develop software integrating AI/ML algorithms on SWaP hardware such as Nvidia Jetson boards.
Work within Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) frameworks for secure and scalable systems.
Integrate hardware and software on custom payloads for data exploitation.
Utilize experience with source code version control tools like Git or Subversion.
Must have an active US TOP SECRET or higher clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
Minimum 8 years related work experience and a Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in communicating and exchanging data with hardware devices and sensors is essential.
Preferred skills include machine/deep learning techniques, data management, cryptography, and familiarity with US DOD HPC clusters.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Works within a research institute serving U.S. federal government contracts.
