About the Role:
  • Management - Lead the Brand Marketing team and oversee all brand marketing activities including brand strategy & governance, content marketing, creative & events (the latter also operating as shared services). 
  • Strategy - Lead the development of Wiley's brand strategy, owning the implementation of integrated brand marketing programmes aligned with Wiley’s objectives and target markets. 
  • Brand consistency - Define and manage Wiley’s brand positioning, messaging, and voice across all channels and touchpoints to ensure consistency and coherence. 
  • External Relationships – work closely with the Communications team to build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and press mentions. 
  • Brand innovation - Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and innovation. 
  • Data and insights - Track, analyse, and report on the performance of brand marketing activities, leveraging data and insights to optimise strategies and tactics. 
  • Budget management - Manage budgets, resources, and external agencies/vendors effectively to maximise ROI and achieve objectives within established timelines and goals. 
  • Leadership - Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of brand, marketing and creative professionals across multiple disciplines, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, performance, and continuous improvement. 
  • Collaboration - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and integration of brand messaging and initiatives. 

Salary Range:102,200 GBP to 149,867 GBP
