The Senior Director, Corporate Strategy role is an integral part of our Corporate Strategy team, helping set the direction for Guild to drive long-term sustainable growth for the company. This role requires deep knowledge of Guild’s business along with financial, operational, and market data to support the company’s continued growth, look over the horizon, predict performance and anticipate opportunities and risks.

Please note, this is a Denver based position. Please ensure you are eligible to work in the Denver area OR open to relocation prior to applying for this role. 

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with Guild’s leadership team to shape and refine Guild’s corporate strategy, including long-term growth planning, new business models, and strategic priorities.
  • Develop data-driven business cases and strategic recommendations using market research, internal analytics, and financial modeling
  • Conduct market sizing, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments to inform company-level decisions and investment priorities
  • Lead annual strategic planning processes, working closely with cross-functional partners to translate strategy into execution
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations to support new initiatives, partnerships, or M&A opportunities.
  • Become a trusted partner that can bring different levels, functions and personalities together to find the best answers for the team
  • Play a leading role in M&A diligence, evaluating and sizing acquisition opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and conduct ad-hoc analyses and special projects in support of Guild’s strategy
  • Champion best practices, next-generation solutions and continued skill development across team

Required Proficiencies
  • 10+ years of experience driving enterprise-wide strategy in high-growth, matrixed organizations, with a proven ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable growth plans and strategic priorities.
  • Proven success in investment banking, management consulting or internal corporate strategy or product strategy for a high growth organization supporting enterprise  
  • Successfully partnered directly with executive leadership to shape long-term corporate strategy, including expansion planning, new business model evaluation, and portfolio prioritization.
  • Led cross-functional strategic planning processes, aligning teams around vision, goals, and execution roadmaps while instilling operational rigor and accountability.
  • Built data-backed business cases and strategic recommendations, synthesizing financial models, market research, and internal performance metrics to guide multi-million dollar investments and resource allocations.
  • Conducted market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and whitespace analysis to identify and prioritize high-impact growth opportunities across products, markets, and partnerships.
  • Led high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives and special projects, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution to deliver measurable impact in ambiguous environments.

This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary range of $180,000- $250,000 and variable compensation (bonus) eligibility along with stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
