General Job Description
WPS is seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Director of Product Management to lead our product vision and roadmap. This role plays an integral part in e is responsible for overseeing product lifecycle management and guiding a high-performing team to deliver innovative solutions that drive business growth and enhances customer satisfaction.
The individual understands the importance of relationship building, communication, and collaboration within the organization and requires someone who will work seamlessly with stakeholders across the organization to include assessment content developers, finance, marketing, and our external customers. The individual will be responsible for implementing product life cycle management from product idea generation to tactical activities The Senior Director will partner with the VP of Content Development in ideation and concept generation for the purpose of developing new product solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Champion a customer-/market-centric approach to product development.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of product managers and product owners.
- Identify clear measurable goals to ensure product team members are set up for success.
- Build and maintain deep relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to align product initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, iteration, and end-of-life.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine product strategies and make informed decisions.
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed about emerging industry trends.
- Drive innovation by leveraging customer feedback, market research, and performance data.

Position Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities):
- Proven track record of developing and launching successful products
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional experience and leadership in building and managing great product teams.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and with resiliency both in the normal course of business, but also when implementing change management when needed.
- Experience working and utilizing modern product management tools and methodologies.Proven track record in building collaborative partnerships across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization.
- MBA, or equivalent experience
- 10+ or more years of experience in Product Management with at least 5 years in aleadership role
- Ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, delegate tasks, and refine new processes.
- Thrive on being an integral part of a high-performing team with the ability to build trust, work effectively with other team members and participate in open and honest collaboration.
