Senior Director of School Engagement (Sales Western Region)

Description
OVERVIEW
The Sr. Director of School Engagement leads and manages a team responsible for driving new business and expanding access to Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Programs and Services. This role provides high-level sales support, oversees large-scale sales initiatives, and executes state and regional campaigns to drive adoption and meet revenue goals. The Sr. Director leverages sales leadership expertise to drive results, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment, optimize strategies, and support long-term customer success. Regular travel required. 

This remote role requires a home office within the assigned geographic territory to ensure effective customer support and facilitate travel throughout the region.

 Applicants must reside in a state with Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone to be considered for this role.  

RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets including growth of existing districts and the acquisition of new business. 
  • Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance management to ensure goal achievement and continuous improvement. 
  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability measures for the sales team. 
Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Provide direct sales support for high-impact initiatives, including large-scale state and regional campaigns. 
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive new business and market expansion. 
  • Oversee and optimize lead generation efforts, event participation, and outreach campaigns. 
  • Track and forecast sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to meet organizational goals. 
  • Ensure standardized processes for sales engagement, new course launches, and lead collection and management. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, providing strategic guidance and direct support to drive growth. 
  • Provide backup account level support, ensuring a seamless experience for customers in cases of an absence or vacancy.
Collaboration and Relationship Management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategy and tactics to drive results.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, policymakers, and education leaders to advance PLTW’s mission. 
  • Represent PLTW at regional and national conferences, networking events, and industry engagements. 
  • Identify and recommend potential opportunities to incorporate innovative methods and emerging trends within area of expertise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Sales experience with a proven ability to meet revenue goals and drive business growth. 
  • Expertise in CRM tools and data-driven sales management. 
  • Experience coaching, leading, and managing the work of others.
