Job Title : Senior Instructional Designer

Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer with experience building instructor-led and on-demand/self-paced technical training to join the Sage Intacct Content Experience team. The position supports our cloud accounting and financial solution, Sage Intacct. You should have, or be able to acquire, in-depth knowledge of Sage Intacct products. Collaborate with other Instructional Designers, Instructors, Content Designers, Product Managers, Professional Services and other subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of content. A proven ability to work independently and manage projects is required.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage course projects from inception to production and release.
· Approach projects with energy, flexibility, and attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and shifts in priorities.
· Quickly learn tasks and processes required by various audiences and translate that information into training for our customers and partners.
· Build and maintain instructor-led and on-demand courseware; including the creation of hands-on learning activities and lab environments.
· Facilitate reviews with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy.
· Troubleshoot product and activity errors and escalate for resolution as appropriate.
· Utilize student and instructor feedback to improve content.
· Develop course assessments and assist with the development of certification exams.
· Keep up to date on the product’s new features and update courseware appropriately.
· Incorporate instructional design best practices and techniques, adhere to Sage brand standard, and the styles and standards of the team.

REQUIREMENTS:
· 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing instructor-led and on-demand courseware on software.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Understanding of cloud computing required; a background in finance is desired.
· Experience and knowledge of instructional technologies is required.
· Exceptional ability to break down complex topics into logical sequences is required.
· Hands-on experience with a variety of content and video development tools is required, such as Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia, Xyleme Create, and WellSaid.
